Seating Systems

We undertake projects of simulating the seating systems for crash events and other regulatory/proprietary loading condition to evaluate its structural performance mainly from safety point of view and optimize the structure to obtain the desired performance.

Types of Projects We Handle Are:

• Head Rest Performance analysis, Luggage Retention, Energy Dissipation Test on seat structure, Seat Belt Anchorage test.
• Sled Test Simulation to study combined effect of dummy loads transferred through the seatbelt and the luggage loads.
• Seat vibration analysis and comfort level prediction.
• Fatigue analysis of metallic portion of seat structure.
• Design of seat frame – totally new seat or optimization of design based on the performance requirements.
